Training to Top Standards Coastal International Security is second to none in the quality of its training. In addition to training its own security forces, it also trains security officers for other companies, and even offers its curriculum to individuals seeking to become security professionals. Coastal operates several training academies across the country, owns its own firearms range, and develops online training modules for distant e-learning. All of its graduates are trained to Department of Homeland Security and Department of Defense standards, as well as those of 34 states and the District of Columbia. All of our training curricula conform to GSA standards as well. Selection of Personnel A security force is only as good as the quality of the individuals and it’s training. This is where Coastal excels. Candidates must meet our stringent requirements for intelligence, prior experience and character. Many have former military and civilian law enforcement experience. Others have served in the armed forces in other capacities. Once they pass our thorough screening, they are enrolled in one of our training academies. Those who will serve at sensitive government facilities must already possess or qualify for government security clearances as high as Top Secret. |
