September 12, 2008: Veterans Health Administration Security Contract Awarded to Coastal Security!Federal Protective Services has awarded Coastal the Washington DC Veterans Administration security contract. This contract covers the Washington DC offices and involves approximately 85 officers. This four year contract begins 1 October 2008.
August 1, 2008: Coastal Wins Renewal for the United States Geological Survey National Center (USGS)
Following full and open competitive bidding, Coastal has been awarded a contract by the USGS for an additional 5 years. This site is located in Reston, VA and involves approximately 37 certified officers. The new contract period begins 1 September 2008.
May 21, 2008: Coastal Wins NASA Awards Agency-Wide Protective Services Contract!
NASA has awarded its consolidated protective services contract to Coastal International Security. Work under the contract will provide fire services, security services, emergency management, export control, protective services information assurance/technology security, and protective services training throughout the agency. Firm-fixed priced task orders will be issued under the contract to perform services at all 14 NASA locations throughout the United States.
Our major partners for the contract include Intergraph of Madison, Ala., Arctic Slope Airfield & Range Services of Greenbelt, Md., RONCO Consulting of Washington, Trident Group of Baltimore, Ameriguard Security Services, Inc. of Fresno, Calif., Sallyport Support Services of New Orleans, La., Excalibur Associates, Inc. of Alexandria, Va., SAGE Systems Technology of Manassas, Va., and American Eagle Security, Inc. of Austin, Texas.
This 10 year contract has a maximum value of $1.56 billion.
