Curtis L. Wrenn Jr.
President
Curtis Wrenn assumed the role as President of Coastal in 2006. He is chiefly responsible for business development and operations of all current and future security contracts, as well as ensuring that Coastal’s clients remain enthusiastic about the services it provides.
Mr. Wrenn earned his B.S. in Industrial Technology from Virginia State University and his Master’s in the same specialty from Alabama A&M University. He retired as a colonel after 27 years with the U.S. Army, and worked briefly in civil service for the Army afterwards. Prior to becoming Coastal’s president, he served as its National Capital Region Vice President.
John S. Morris
Vice President, Business Processes
John S. "Steve" Morris joined the Coastal International Security team in March 2006. As the Vice President for Business Operations, he leads, directs, and coordinates all business processes in support of Coastal's corporate business operations management worldwide, to include new business development, and is the lead strategic planner for the company.
Mr. Morris holds a B.A. in Human Resource Administration from Saint Leo College and a Master of Military Arts and Sciences from the School of Advanced Military Studies at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He retired from the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant Colonel after 23 years, where he served throughout the U.S. and around the world. He later served as an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, developing curricula and teaching courses in Leadership and Military Science.
Stanley Busboom
Vice President, NASA Protective Services
Stan Busboom joined the Coastal International Security team in 2008 to manage the NASA Protective Services Contract. In addition to leading the Contract Management Office in Madison, AL, he is the leader of a force of over 1500 officers and other specialists comprised of a team of employees from Coastal and 10 subcontractors. His single focus is on providing quality protective services to the NASA community at all 14 NASA sites.
Mr. Busboom earned a B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Arizona, an M.S. in Public Administration from Golden Gate University, and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico. He retired as a Colonel after 26 years in the U.S. Air Force’s Security Police. After serving his country and before coming to Coastal, Mr. Busboom was the Director of Security at Los Alamos National Laboratory for 5 years, and then spent 5 years as Managing Member and owner of Double Aspect, LLC, a professional management consulting business.
